Roof nesting Gulls – we need your records! As part of the Dublin City Urban Birds Project being run by BirdWatch Ireland in conjunction with Dublin City Council, records are being sought of Herring, Lesser Black-backed and Great Black-backed Gulls which make their nests and raise chicks on the roofs and chimneys of office buildings and homes around Dublin and other town/cities across Ireland. In the county of Wicklow, it is likely that roof nesting gulls may be found in Bray, Greystones, Wicklow and Arklow. If you have any recent or historic records of roof nesting gulls then please let us know via the Roof Nesting Gull Survey page.
